Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 2, 2026
MyndID is built around personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information MyndID collects, how we use it, how we disclose it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights available to you.
This Policy applies to MyndID.com, the MyndID mobile and web applications, Mynd World™, MyndID Space™, MyndID Recovery, MyndID File functionality, and related services that link to this Policy (collectively, the "Service").
In this Policy, "MyndID," "SHOVLD," "we," "us," or "our" means SHOVLD LLC, a Florida limited liability company. MyndID™ was created by Avi Peretz and is developed by SHOVLD LLC.
1. Privacy Principles
Our intended privacy principles are:
- Your private MyndID is private by default.
- Your personal information is not a product for sale.
- You control whether optional public/published features are enabled.
- You can access, correct, export, and delete information as described below.
- We use private MyndID content to provide your MyndID experience, not to secretly build a generalized profile for unrelated advertising.
- We disclose important data practices in plain language and use additional just-in-time notices where appropriate.
2. What MyndID Does With Personal Information
MyndID is designed to learn from information you provide through onboarding interviews, conversations, guided questions, deliberation, feedback, and other interactions. The Service may organize that information and derive personalized summaries, memories, relationship context, preferences, values, knowledge, goals, reasoning patterns, decision tendencies, and other inferences that form part of your evolving digital representation.
Because of the nature of the Service, information you choose to provide may be highly personal and may reveal sensitive aspects of your life. You control what you choose to tell MyndID, subject to features that require certain information to function.
3. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect the following categories.
3.1 Account and identity information
- name;
- email address;
- username or account identifier;
- password hash, passkey, authentication token, or third-party sign-in identifier — including Sign in with Apple or Google, and Apple's Hide My Email relay address if you choose to use it;
- age or date-of-birth information where requested;
- city, state, country, or general location where provided;
- MyndID Number and related internal identifiers;
- account settings, preferences, subscription status, and consent records.
We do not need or want your Social Security number, driver's-license number, passport number, or other government identifier for ordinary MyndID use unless a future feature specifically requires it and provides a separate notice.
3.2 Onboarding, interview, guided-question, and deliberation information
Information you provide while MyndID learns about you, which may include:
- life experiences and memories;
- personal history;
- values and priorities;
- preferences and interests;
- beliefs and perspectives;
- goals and aspirations;
- reasoning and decision patterns;
- relationship information;
- professional knowledge and expertise;
- habits and routines;
- responses to scenarios or tradeoffs;
- feedback confirming, rejecting, or correcting what MyndID has learned.
3.3 Conversations and communications
We may collect the content of conversations you have with MyndID, including text, audio converted to text, prompts, questions, responses, and related metadata needed to provide conversational features.
Not every conversational message necessarily becomes part of your durable MyndID. Every onboarding answer and every conversation message is automatically screened before being stored or used, to detect expressions of self-harm or suicidal crisis, credible and specific threats of violence toward an identifiable person, and certain illegal instructional content. Flagged content is not used to build your ongoing profile. If self-harm is detected, you'll see a supportive message with crisis-line information instead of a normal reply.
3.4 MyndID profile, dossier, memories, and derived inferences
The Service may create or store personalized information derived from your interactions, such as:
- summaries of experiences or memories;
- value or preference records;
- people and relationship context;
- goals;
- knowledge and expertise;
- decision and reasoning tendencies;
- behavioral or conversational patterns;
- confidence, provenance, confirmation, recency, or status information associated with learned items;
- whether information was explicitly stated, inferred, confirmed, edited, or superseded.
These inferences are personal information when they relate to you. You can view everything MyndID has recorded at any time, grouped by area, and delete any individual item or person (Memory → your depth level → What we know). When you delete an item, the content is removed; we retain a record that the question was previously asked, without your answer, so MyndID does not simply ask you the same thing again. Whenever something is added to your MyndID during a conversation, the app shows you a confirmation at that moment naming the area it was filed under.
3.5 Information about other people
You may choose to discuss family, friends, colleagues, partners, or other people. This may result in storage of names, relationship context, or other information you provide about them. This information is held privately in your account; we do not contact these people, build profiles for them, or use their information for any purpose outside your own MyndID.
Please do not provide highly sensitive information about another person unless you have a lawful basis and it is genuinely necessary for your use of MyndID.
3.6 Photos, images, likeness, and avatar information
If you choose photo, avatar, image-generation, or likeness features, we may process photos and images you upload, avatar selections and generated visual representations, image-processing metadata, and information needed to generate or display features you request.
We do not use facial images as biometric identifiers for identity recognition or authentication unless a specific feature expressly tells you that we will do so and obtains any consent required by law.
3.7 Voice and audio information
If you use voice features, we may process voice recordings, audio you submit, speech-to-text transcripts, voice selections, generated or cloned voice profiles where you specifically request that feature, and technical data required to create and deliver voice output.
We do not use voiceprints for biometric identification or authentication unless a specific feature expressly tells you that we will do so and obtains any consent required by law.
3.8 Documents and files
If you upload documents or other files to your knowledge base, we collect their content and metadata as necessary to provide the feature you requested.
3.9 MyndID File, export, restore, and verification information
We may process your MyndID Number and internal identifiers, file-format and schema version, creation/update/export/restore/verification timestamps, integrity or authenticity information, encrypted payloads and related technical metadata, restore attempts and security events, and information needed to validate file compatibility or authenticity.
We do not intentionally make the private contents of an encrypted MyndID File publicly available.
3.10 Recovery and security information
If you use recovery or account-security features, we may collect or generate recovery status, encrypted recovery material, device or authentication information, verification events, and audit logs. We will not intentionally log or expose raw encryption keys, plaintext passwords, or other secrets except where technically necessary and appropriately protected.
3.11 Purchases, subscriptions, and transaction information
When you buy a subscription or product, we may collect the plan or product selected, transaction identifier, billing status, purchase date, renewal/cancellation status, shipping information for physical products, and limited payment metadata.
Payment-card information is processed entirely by Stripe (or, where applicable, Apple or Google). We do not receive or store your full card number.
3.12 Device, network, and usage information
We may automatically collect IP address, device type, operating system and app/browser version, language and time zone, crash and diagnostic information, security and fraud signals, login and session information, feature usage and performance events, and approximate location derived from IP address where used for security or localization.
We do not collect precise GPS location unless a feature requests it and you grant permission.
3.13 Support and business communications
We collect messages and information you provide when contacting support, reporting a problem, responding to a survey, participating in research, joining a waitlist, or communicating with us about the Service — including the name, email address, category, and message you submit through the website's contact form, used solely to respond to your inquiry.
3.14 Website cookies and similar technologies
Our public websites may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies for essential operation, preferences, security, analytics, and — only where disclosed and permitted — marketing.
We do not place advertising or session-replay trackers inside authenticated MyndID conversations or MyndID Space. Where required, we provide cookie choices or consent controls on the public site.
4. Sensitive Personal Information
Because MyndID is designed for personal reflection, information you voluntarily provide may reveal sensitive information, including health information, philosophical or religious beliefs, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, union membership, sexual orientation or sex-life information, precise relationships, financial circumstances, or other sensitive matters.
You decide whether to provide this information. Where applicable law requires consent to process sensitive personal information, we rely on your affirmative action and any additional consent presented in the Service.
We use sensitive information to provide and personalize the features you request, protect the Service, and comply with law. We do not use private sensitive MyndID content for targeted advertising.
You may delete or correct sensitive information using available controls or by making a privacy request, subject to legal exceptions.
5. How We Use Information
5.1 Provide and personalize MyndID
Create and maintain your account; conduct onboarding and interviews; provide conversational and deliberative features; ask guided questions; create, organize, and evolve your MyndID; remember relevant information you have asked or permitted the Service to retain; personalize responses based on your MyndID; create avatars, voices, documents, or other features you request.
5.2 Create, export, restore, and verify MyndID Files
Generate and update MyndID Files; encrypt, sign, verify, or restore supported files; maintain identity and version continuity; diagnose compatibility or integrity problems; protect against unauthorized or corrupted files.
5.3 Operate and secure the Service
Authenticate users; detect suspicious activity; prevent abuse and fraud; rate-limit or investigate attack attempts; maintain logs and backups; troubleshoot and improve reliability; protect users and our systems.
5.4 Provide safety features
We may process content to detect or respond to potential self-harm, violence, abuse, illegal content, fraud, or other serious safety concerns. Safety systems are not perfect and are not emergency services.
5.5 Process purchases and subscriptions
We use transaction and account information to process purchases, manage subscriptions, deliver physical products, prevent fraud, and provide customer service.
5.6 Communicate with you
We use contact information to provide service notices, security alerts, account communications, support, product information you request, and — where permitted — marketing communications. You may opt out of promotional email while continuing to receive essential transactional or security communications.
5.7 Improve the Service
We may use product telemetry, crash information, security data, aggregate statistics, deidentified information, and feedback to understand performance and improve MyndID.
Private-content training commitment. Unless you separately and affirmatively opt in, we do not use the private contents of your MyndID, private conversations, private memories, photos, voice recordings, or uploaded documents to train a generalized AI model for unrelated users.
We may use deidentified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked back to you to improve products, research system performance, or understand usage patterns.
6. AI Providers and Automated Processing
MyndID may use third-party AI infrastructure providers to generate, analyze, transcribe, synthesize, classify, or otherwise process information needed to provide the Service.
When a feature requires it, relevant portions of your content may be transmitted to those providers under contractual, technical, and privacy controls appropriate to the service they perform.
We seek to configure production AI services so that private MyndID content is not used by those providers to train generalized models for their independent purposes.
AI systems may generate inferences about you. You can use available controls to review, correct, reject, or delete learned information, and you may exercise applicable privacy rights described below.
MyndID does not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education admission, criminal justice, or other regulated eligibility decisions on behalf of third parties.
7. When We Disclose Information
We do not sell your private MyndID content. We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.
7.1 Service providers and processors
We use providers that help us operate the Service, which may include cloud hosting and database providers, authentication and security providers, AI model/inference providers, speech, voice, image, or avatar providers, email and communications providers, payment processors and app stores, analytics, crash-reporting, and performance providers, customer-support providers, shipping and fulfillment providers for physical products, and professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants, and security consultants.
These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us, subject to applicable contracts and law.
7.2 At your direction
We disclose information when you direct us to do so, such as when you intentionally publish a Mynd, connect an integration, share content, authorize another MyndID experience, or ask us to transmit information to another service.
7.3 Legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information where we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or is reasonably necessary to protect a person from imminent serious harm; investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; enforce our Terms; protect our legal rights; or defend against legal claims.
We evaluate requests for user information and may challenge requests we reasonably believe are invalid or overbroad where permitted.
7.4 Corporate transactions
If MyndID or SHOVLD LLC is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, personal information may be disclosed as part of due diligence or transferred as part of the transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections.
If a transaction materially changes how private MyndID content will be used, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required.
8. We Do Not Sell Your MyndID
We do not sell or rent the private contents of your MyndID, private conversations, private memories, uploaded documents, photos, or voice recordings to data brokers or advertisers.
We do not use private MyndID content to target third-party advertising to you.
If our public marketing website ever uses advertising technology that legally constitutes "selling," "sharing," or targeted advertising under applicable U.S. state law, we will provide the required notice and opt-out mechanism, including recognition of Global Privacy Control where required.
9. Published Mynds and Public Information
If we introduce Published Mynds, public profiles, public avatars, searchable expertise, or similar features, they will be private by default and require deliberate action to publish.
You may be able to choose which information or capabilities are public. Depending on your settings, published information may be searchable, visible to other users, indexed by search engines, copied by others, or accessible outside your account.
The underlying private MyndID File will not be made public merely because you publish selected content, unless a feature clearly states otherwise and you explicitly authorize it.
When you unpublish content, we will stop intentionally displaying it after a reasonable processing period, but we cannot control copies previously made by other people or third-party search caches.
10. Biometric, Voice, and Likeness Information
Photos, voice recordings, facial images, and digital likenesses can be particularly sensitive.
If a feature creates a voice clone, avatar, facial representation, or other likeness, we process that information to provide the feature you requested. We do not use such data to establish or verify your biological identity through biometric recognition unless we separately disclose that purpose and obtain consent required by applicable law.
If we later offer biometric identity-verification features, we will provide a separate notice describing the biometric information collected, purpose, retention period, deletion practices, and consent process before collection.
11. Your MyndID File and Local Copies
When you download a MyndID File, the copy stored on your device, USB drive, backup system, cloud drive, or other storage location is under your control.
Our Privacy Policy does not control how third-party storage services, devices, family members, employers, or other people with access to your copy handle it.
Use encryption, strong passwords, secure devices, and backups appropriate to the sensitivity of your information.
Deleting your MyndID account does not remotely erase copies you previously downloaded to your own devices or shared elsewhere.
12. MyndID Recovery
Recovery features may require processing account identifiers, MyndID Numbers, file metadata, encrypted recovery information, authentication events, and security logs.
We design recovery systems to avoid unnecessary exposure of private MyndID contents. However, no recovery method is risk free, and some strong-encryption configurations may make recovery impossible if required credentials are lost.
13. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Service, maintaining account continuity, complying with law, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and enforcing agreements. Retention depends on the category of information and your choices. For example:
- Account and MyndID data: generally retained while your account is active and until deletion, subject to limited legal, security, and backup retention.
- Conversation and durable MyndID information: retained according to your account settings, product functionality, and deletion choices.
- Deleted information: removed from active systems within a reasonable period; encrypted backup copies may remain until the relevant backup cycle expires.
- Transaction and tax records: retained as required by accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
- Security and fraud logs: retained for a period reasonably necessary to detect, investigate, and prevent misuse.
- Published content: retained while published and for a reasonable period needed to remove caches, backups, or indexing records after unpublishing.
We may retain deidentified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably be linked to you.
14. Account Deletion
You may delete individual learned items, conversations, your MyndID, or your account through Settings or other controls.
You can delete any individual thing MyndID has learned about you, or any person it has recorded, at any time (Memory → your depth level → What we know). You can permanently delete your whole MyndID — your identity core, decision framework, values, emotional and state patterns, preferences, relational patterns, onboarding answers, everything learned in conversation since, and the people recorded in it — at any time from Settings, without affecting anything else. You can also permanently delete your entire account from Settings: this removes your MyndID, conversation history, avatar and uploaded photos, chosen voice, knowledge base, goals, and instinct check-ins, cancels any active subscription immediately, and deletes the account itself. These actions are immediate and cannot be undone.
When you request deletion, we delete or deidentify covered information from active systems, subject to fraud and security prevention; legal obligations; transaction and tax records; dispute-resolution and enforcement needs; information another user independently provided; temporary backup retention; and other exceptions permitted by applicable law.
Before deleting your account, download any MyndID File or other information you wish to keep.
15. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information based on its sensitivity. Measures may include encryption, authenticated access, secure development practices, rate limiting, logging, least-privilege access, backups, and integrity controls. Uploaded photos and generated avatars are stored in private, non-public storage, restricted to your own account.
No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration will never occur.
You are responsible for safeguarding your own account credentials, devices, downloaded MyndID Files, passwords, recovery materials, and physical storage devices.
If we discover a data breach requiring notification, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
16. International Data Transfers
SHOVLD LLC is based in the United States. If you use the Service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
Where required by law, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, adequacy mechanisms, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
17. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies to us, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your personal information; access personal information; correct inaccurate information; delete personal information; obtain a portable copy of certain information; opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and appeal a denial of a privacy request.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
To submit a request, email support@myndid.com or use an in-product privacy-request method if available.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where applicable law permits, subject to verification of their authority.
If we deny a request and applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision or contacting support@myndid.com with the subject "Privacy Appeal."
18. California Privacy Notice
This section supplements the rest of this Policy for California residents where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA"), applies to us.
18.1 Categories collected
During the preceding 12 months, depending on the Service used, we may have collected identifiers and contact information; customer records and transaction information; commercial/subscription information; internet or electronic-network activity; geolocation at an approximate level; audio, electronic, visual, or similar information; professional or employment-related information you voluntarily provide; sensitive personal information you voluntarily provide; inferences drawn from information to create your MyndID; and other information you voluntarily provide. The sources and purposes are described throughout this Policy.
18.2 Sensitive personal information
MyndID conversations may contain sensitive personal information. We use it to provide and personalize the Service, maintain security, and for other purposes permitted by law. We do not use private sensitive MyndID content to infer characteristics for targeted advertising.
Where the CCPA provides a right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information and that right applies to our practices, you may contact support@myndid.com.
18.3 Sale and sharing
We do not sell the private contents of your MyndID. We do not share private MyndID content for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If marketing technologies on our public website constitute "sale" or "sharing" under California law, we will provide a Your Privacy Choices mechanism and honor Global Privacy Control where legally required.
18.4 California rights
Subject to legal exceptions, California residents may have the right to know/access, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, limit certain sensitive-information uses, and receive non-discriminatory treatment.
Requests may be made through support@myndid.com or an available privacy-request form.
19. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If European data-protection law applies, SHOVLD LLC generally acts as the controller of personal data processed to provide consumer MyndID services.
19.1 Legal bases
Depending on the processing, we rely on Contract (processing needed to provide the Service you request); Consent (where you voluntarily enable certain features or where law requires consent, including certain sensitive-data processing); Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service reliability, customer support, and reasonable product improvement that does not override your rights); Legal obligation (processing needed to comply with applicable law); and Vital interests (in rare circumstances involving imminent serious harm, where permitted by law).
For special-category personal data, we rely on an applicable additional condition, including explicit consent where required.
19.2 Rights
Subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
19.3 International transfers
Where required, transfers from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland are protected through recognized transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful safeguards.
19.4 Representatives and DPO
If required for our EEA/UK activity, our representative and/or Data Protection Officer contact details will be provided here.
20. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
MyndID creates personalized inferences and a digital representation based on your interactions. This is a form of automated profiling in the ordinary technical sense.
We use that profiling to personalize your own MyndID experience, not to make eligibility decisions about your employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, or similar legal rights on behalf of third parties.
You can review and correct information where tools are available and may exercise applicable privacy rights.
21. Children
The Service is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for use of the MyndID consumer Service.
If you believe a minor has provided personal information contrary to this Policy, contact support@myndid.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
22. Health and Medical Information
You may choose to discuss health or medical experiences as part of your life context, but MyndID is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or medical-record system.
Unless we expressly enter into a legally applicable arrangement stating otherwise, MyndID is not intended to act as a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate and should not be used by healthcare providers to store protected health information on behalf of patients.
Health information you voluntarily provide is handled under this Privacy Policy and applicable consumer-privacy law.
23. Legacy, Incapacity, and Deceased Users
Future Mynd Legacy or succession features may allow users to designate how selected information or an authorized representation may be handled after death or incapacity.
Until such a feature is actually launched with specific terms, do not rely on MyndID as a legally binding will, trust, advance directive, beneficiary designation, or estate-planning instrument.
We will not provide account access to another person solely because they claim to be an heir or family member. We may require legally sufficient documentation and will follow applicable law and any product-specific legacy instructions that were validly configured.
24. Third-Party Links and Integrations
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party products. Information you choose to send to a third party is also subject to that third party's privacy practices.
We encourage you to review third-party privacy policies before connecting an account or sending information.
25. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not standardized and may not be honored by all parts of the Service.
Where applicable law requires recognition of Global Privacy Control (GPC) as an opt-out of sale or sharing, we will honor valid GPC signals for the relevant browser or device.
26. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy as MyndID evolves or laws change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice for material changes as required by law.
If we propose a materially different use of previously collected private MyndID content, we will provide clear notice before the new use and obtain consent where legally required.
We recommend reviewing this Policy periodically.
